Is this release the shorter or longer cut?

  2. 4kcollector says:

Yeah, its best to avoid FGT at all costs.

Hi, thanks a lot for this one!

Maybe you could also post one of the next releases:

    The.Shining.1980.US.DC.2160p.BluRay.REMUX.HEVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-FGT (81,90 GB)

    The.Shining.1980.COMPLETE.UHD.BLURAY-TERMiNAL (89,83 GB)

They include additional audio (dubbing) tracks.

Next time please use the request section.
FGT releases most of the time have audio problems, will do the FULL BD.

      • johnny says:

Of course, I know about the requesting page and the rules, but was thinking of doing it right here for the sake of simplicity. I will do it there next time.

And to tell you the truth, I don’t remember having problems with FGT’s releases, that as far as the plenty of releases I have downloaded so far. Moreover, if it’s a about a “REMUX”edition, it would be kind of unlikely there were problems, since there is no encoding at all. Anyway, I bet you know why you are saying it, so I understand.

        Thanks a lot. 🙂

If you check some NFO files from remuxes of groups like EPSiLON or FraMeSToR or KRaLiMaRKo you’ll notice they mention,

eac3to is used to create Video and makemkv for audio and subs due to seamless branching Enjoy

This is something with FGT releases that’s not happening, they might end up having issues such as those as mentioned.

About your request, should be posted today.
(I don’t check comments that often and other posters might not be checking the comments from stuff they did not post so it makes more sense to post it on requests so it will gain more visibility but I’m fine with comments like the one you did.)

I’ve had issues with FGT remuxes before with Disney UHDs.
Disney likes to do seamless branching and if remuxed improperly adds audio skips.
FGT messed up a few Toy Story remuxes and when I commented on rarbg they just delete my post instead of fixing the release with a proper.
My recomendation to those who download remuxes instead of making your own.
Check out the full BD release first and see if it contains seamless branching.
            Look here for an example:
If you look under the file list you’ll see a bunch of m2ts files under the BDMV/STREAM/ directory, none of which are large enough to contain the entire file, thus multiple m2ts files are merged to create the film.
If this is the case, you’re better off downloading the full BD and doing the remux yourself IMHO.
Now here is an example of a movie that doesn’t use seamless branching:
The entire movie is contained in one file: BDMV/STREAM/00006.m2ts
So the remux is very unlikely to have issues.
FGT is bad with seamless branching, but even these other remuxes have had issues.
As an example The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993 1080p Blu-ray Remux AVC TrueHD 7 1 – KRaLiMaRKo which can be found here: has an audio drop out around the 33 minute mark.
Right before Jack opens the window and says Eureka! there’s an audio cut out and this BD is only h264 1080p with TrueHD (no Atmos).

            • That guy says:

Oh, and subsequently reencodeds using the FGT remux as the source are obviously impacted as well.
See Toy Story 2 releases around 1:24:45 where there’s an audio drop out at the seamless branch right before the credits roll.
Since it’s on the FGT remux, IAMABLE and SWTYBLZ re-encodes are impacted as well.
